The Bourne Conspiracy is a 3rd person action, shooter, fighter and driving game set in the Bourne universe. Drawing from both literary and film sources, the game dives deep into what led to Jason Bourne’s amnesia and subsequent memory recovery, letting the player experience all of the exciting, intense action for themselves!
Developed in Unreal 3, the goal was to put players into Bourne’s shoes. We wanted to make players into the $30 million elite agent whose extensive training, sense of survival and heightened world awareness made him so compelling as an action character. One of the coolest things we did with the game was the takedown mechanic whereby the player could use the environment as part of their hand-to-hand combat toolbox. This made maneuvering in the fights a lot more interesting, useful and fun!
– Led entire team during pre-production development (gameflow, all level & mechanic designs)
