20,000 Leaks (Kinect Adventures)
As one of the earliest developers for Kinect, we pitched multiple titles to Microsoft prior to its market release. We were invited to prototype two concepts, one of which was selected to become 20,000 Leaks (one of the included titles with the pack-in Kinect Adventures).
We planned & prioritized development under an extremely tight schedule with a brand new technology that was still being finalized as we built our own game! The CEO & I worked with Microsoft directly to develop the schedule, the deliverables and to determine the quality bars that we were going to exceed.
I directed the design team in building gameplay mechanics, levels and iteration. We were able to build a significant chunk of fun ‘3D Twister’ gameplay and we made it very accessible. Our goal was to deliver a gameplay experience that made the player ‘the controller’ and we delivered!
